LB03 Film Forum

The Lahore Biennale Film Forum hosted two sessions of free public screenings and discussions exploring themes of climate change, ecological resilience, and sustainable futures. Held at Alhamra Arts Centre Hall 3, the forum featured a curated selection of short films and documentaries that examined pressing environmental challenges, from water scarcity to the impacts of industrialization on fragile ecosystems.

These films brought to life the entanglements between human communities and the natural world, telling stories set in diverse landscapes like rivers, mountains, and deltas. Through poignant narratives and surrealist imagery, they reflected on the human cost of environmental degradation while imagining pathways toward repair and regeneration.

The Film Forum extended the conversations initiated by LB03: Of Mountains and Seas, fostering dialogue on humanity’s collective responsibility to build a more sustainable and just future.
