Drawn from Mitti

Drawn from Mitti is a hands-on workshop that invites participants to explore the art of drawing with soil (mitti) while delving into its ecological and botanical connections. Led by Usman Saeed—a gardener, artist, researcher, and educator—the session offers a unique opportunity to engage creatively with the natural world.

Organized by Hira Nabi and Nida Rehman as part of Mitti, Mazdoori, Mahaul, a project featured in Lahore Biennale 03, the workshop encourages participants to reflect on the intricate relationships between soil, environment, and artistic expression.
