INLAND Honeybee Workshops
The “Crossroads Tamboo” workshop series is part of Inland’s exploration of the intersection between pastoralist and beekeeping practices in Pakistan and Central Asia. This architectural initiative highlights the unique mobile and transhumant beekeeping systems that have shaped these regions.
The series of beekeeping workshops, in collaboration with the Honey Bee Research Programme from Punjab University, will cover various topics essential to modern beekeeping practices. Participants will gain practical insights into managing mobile beekeeping systems and understanding the challenges faced by transhumant beekeepers.

- Sunday, October 20th, 3-5 PM: Royal Jelly Production
- Saturday, October 26th, 3-5 PM: Commercialization of Beekeeping
- Sunday, October 27th, 3-5 PM: Bee Swarms & Seasonal Management
- Saturday, November 2nd, 3-5 PM: Honey Extraction & Filtration
- Sunday, November 3rd, 3-5 PM: Bee Sting Management & Apitherapy
These sessions offer an opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of beekeeping and its role within pastoralist and mobile agricultural practices.
