Zeerak Suhail

Zeerak Suhail is a writer, curator and visual designer. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies from the National College of Arts, Lahore, with a distinction for the thesis "Ghosts of Pakistani Horror: Politics, Resistance and Disjointed Time In Pakistani Horror Cinema," Zeerak's research focuses on the ghostly, the in-between, and the silenced; "the making-queer of the world, and the making-world of the queer."

In 2023, Zeerak co-founded Tasveer, a photography publication aimed at creating a critical space for photography in Pakistan. Their work has been featured in platforms such as Lumenvisum, Hong Kong; Lakir, Lahore; Printed Matter, NY; Art in DUMBO, NY; and Tagh'eer, Lahore. Additionally, they have participated in discussions on bookmaking practices in South Asia at Lumenvisum, Hong Kong.
