Sadia Farooq Azeemi

SADIA FAROOQ AZEEMI is a Lahore-based cultural practitioner with a Bachelor's in Cultural Studies from the National College of Arts. Her practice explores memory, place, and everyday life through research-driven, participatory, and site-responsive formats. She is currently working at the Lahore Biennale Foundation as Research and Development Associate and Program Coordinator for the curatorial mentorship programme, The Thing Is. One of her significant works, 'Mujy Sab Yaad Hai Zara Zara', a sound installation, was exhibited as part of a group exhibition, Echoes of Lahore, at Wazir Khan Baradari. She presented her paper, “Barriers of Power: The Legacy of Colonial Control in Contemporary Pakistan,” at a conference organised by the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP).
