Punjab Irrigation Department

The Punjab Irrigation Department is housed on Old Anarkali Road in a series of colonial-era buildings. Riverine irrigation has central importance for the Punjab. The grounds of the Department compound was a location for a newly commissioned sculptural intervention by artist Bahar Behbahani, whose site-specific installations engages with the importance of water and irrigation for the region.
